4. Neem AI
The center button on the navigation bar opens the Neem AI hub — your AI-powered health assistant.
Chat Assistant
Ask Neem AI questions about your health in plain language. The assistant uses your health profile to provide personalized, contextual guidance. Use the quick suggestion chips to get started:
- Explain my lab results
- Tell me about my medications
- What does my condition mean?
- Nutrition tips
- Sleep advice
Knowledge Base
Access AI-generated explanations for your specific conditions and medications. Each entry includes detailed breakdowns covering what it is, how it works, things to watch for, and more.
Chat History
All your conversations with Neem AI are saved. Access your Archived Chats to review past conversations and refer back to previous advice.
Important: Neem AI provides general wellness information. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before making medical decisions.
5. Insights
The Insights tab helps you understand your overall health through scores, assessments, and lab result tracking.
Health Score
Your health score is generated from your wellness assessment and tracked data. It gives you a quick snapshot of your overall well-being, along with AI-generated insights on what's going well and where you can improve.
Wellness Assessment
Complete periodic wellness assessments to update your health score. The assessment asks about your current symptoms, lifestyle habits, and how you're feeling. Results include a detailed breakdown with personalized recommendations.
Health Signals (Lab Results)
View all your lab results organized by category:
- Lipid Panel (cholesterol, triglycerides)
- Diabetes (A1C, fasting glucose)
- Kidney Function
- Liver Function
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Thyroid
- Reproductive Health
- And more
Each lab value shows its status (Normal, Borderline, Abnormal, or Critical), trend over time (Improving, Stable, or Declining), and history graph. You can pin your most important signals for quick access and add new lab results manually.
Cycle Tracking
If enabled during onboarding, the Insights tab also includes menstrual cycle tracking with phase information, symptom logging, and predictions.
6. Records
The Records tab lets you store and organize all your medical documents in one place.
Uploading Documents
Tap the upload button to add a new record. You can either take a photo of a document or select a file from your device. Neem automatically processes the document using optical character recognition (OCR) to extract and organize the information.
Record Types
Your records are organized by type with color-coded badges:
- Lab Results
- Imaging (X-rays, MRIs, etc.)
- Diagnosis Reports
- Pathology
- Genetic Testing
- Allergy Testing
- Emergency / Discharge
- Immunization Records
- Wellness Reports
- Prescriptions
How It Works
When you upload a document, Neem's processing pipeline:
- Scans and extracts the text from your document.
- Automatically classifies the record type.
- Extracts structured data (such as lab values from test results) and adds them to your Health Signals.
You can search and filter your records at any time from the Records tab.
7. Family & Sharing
Neem supports managing health profiles for your entire family.
Multiple Patient Profiles
You can create additional patient profiles for family members you care for (e.g., parents, children). Switch between profiles from the Patients screen — all health data, medications, and records are kept separate for each person.
Sharing Access
From the Family & Access Hub, you can:
- Share your health profile — Invite a family member or caregiver to view your health data.
- Manage recipients — Control who has access and what they can see.
- Accept invitations — If someone shares their profile with you, accept the invitation to start helping manage their health.
8. Settings & Account
Profile
View and edit your personal information including demographics (name, date of birth, gender, blood type), lifestyle details (occupation, exercise habits, diet), and family history.
Change Password
Update your password from the Settings screen. You'll need to enter your current password and then your new password twice to confirm.
Health Integrations
Connect Neem with Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS) to automatically sync health data from your device and wearables.
Privacy Options
- Clear local data — Remove cached data from your device without deleting your account.
- Clear cycle data on logout — Automatically remove cycle tracking data from the device when you log out, for added privacy on shared devices.
Delete Account
If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings > Delete Account. This requires a two-step confirmation and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.
9. Troubleshooting
The app isn't syncing my Health Connect data
Make sure you've granted Neem all the required permissions in your device's Health Connect settings. Go to Settings > Health Integrations in Neem to reconnect.
I forgot my password
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to reset your password.
My uploaded document wasn't processed correctly
For best results, make sure the document photo is well-lit, in focus, and shows the full page. You can re-upload the document or manually add lab values from the Insights tab.
