What is Neem?

Neem is a health app for keeping track of medications, appointments, records and symptoms, and for having them explained in plain language before the next appointment. It works for your own health and for the people you care for.

Does Neem remind me when a dose is due?

Yes. Add each medication once with its schedule, whether once daily, twice daily, weekly, as needed or with food. Pick the times that fit the day, and Neem prompts you at every dose. Mark it taken or skipped in one tap. Over time you can see doses taken, doses missed, and which medication tends to slip, and that history comes with you to the next appointment.

How does Neem help before an appointment?

Neem gathers your medications, symptoms, vitals, notes, records, and recent changes into a one-page visit summary with questions to ask. Bring it with you, or send it to the clinic as a secure link. No portal and no login on their end.

What can I do during and after the visit?

Take notes, capture follow-ups, and keep the next steps attached to the visit summary, so you are not rebuilding the story from memory before the next appointment.

Can Neem help after a new diagnosis or a medication change?

That is when it is most useful. A new diagnosis, a medication added or stopped, a result that moved. Neem can explain what the change generally means and what may be worth asking about next. It explains; it does not diagnose or advise.

Can family members share the same care picture?

Yes. You can invite a sibling, a partner, an adult child, or a support worker so that everyone helping sees the same summaries, updates, and next steps. You control who is invited and when their access ends. Family invitations are part of Neem Plus.

Can I manage care for more than one person?

Yes. Many people look after a parent and a partner, or several family members at once. Each person gets a separate, private profile with their own medications, appointments, and records.

What languages does Neem support?

Neem explains health information in 40 languages, so a family can read the same summary each in the language they think best.

Does Neem work with my smartwatch?

Neem reads from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, which is how data from an Apple Watch, a Samsung Galaxy Watch, or another connected device reaches the app: signals like heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and steps. You choose whether to connect it, and you can disconnect at any time.

Is my family's health data private?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is never sold. It is shared with a clinician only when you choose to send a secure link, and that access stays in your control. The full details are in our privacy policy.

Do you train AI models on my family's data?

No. Neem Health does not use your family's health data to train AI models. You can delete your account and your data at any time.

Where is my health information stored?

Server-side data is stored in Canada, encrypted in transit and at rest, behind access controls. We do not sell health data.

Neem provides educational health information and care-support tools only. Its explanations are generated by AI from the information you add, and they are not reviewed by a clinician. Neem does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace your physician, pharmacist, or any other qualified health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
